Built on a belief that every child matters.

I have sat in classrooms where bright, capable children could not keep up, not because they were not smart enough, but because they had no notebooks to write in, no textbooks to read from, and no one at home or in the community to guide them towards what their future could look like. The materials were missing. The mentorship was missing. And because of that, the dreams were fading too.

What struck me most was this: many of these children were not idle at home. They were working. Helping to run the household, supporting their parents, carrying responsibilities that no child should have to carry alone. By the time they sat down to study, there was no energy left. No time. No quiet. And their academic performance suffered for it, not because of a lack of talent, but because of a lack of space to grow.

TOPP exists to address exactly this. We do not believe these families are the problem. We believe they are carrying too much, and we want to help carry some of it with them. By covering school fees, parents are relieved of one of their heaviest burdens. By providing learning materials, a child arrives at school ready. By pairing each child with a mentor, we give them what many communities simply cannot provide: a trusted adult who believes in their potential and helps them see a path forward.

We enter each family as a partner, not a provider. We sign a three-way agreement with the parents, the school, and the child. We bring the resources. They bring the commitment. Together, we create the conditions for a child to have time to study, time to rest, and the freedom to focus on becoming who they are meant to be.

And we do not walk away. Every child we enrol stays with us for as long as they are committed to their own growth. We do not cycle through children at the end of a year. We grow by adding, not replacing. Our goal is to see each child reach their fullest potential, and we are in it for the long run.
